What we collect
- What you send us: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle year and model, and what you tell us about the battery, whether you text, call, email, or use the contact form. The form is delivered to us by Formspree.
- Messages: text messages with us and the delivery details that come with them (timestamps, delivery status).
- Work records: the test results, estimate and invoice for your battery, which we keep to honour the warranty and to track how our rebuilds hold up.
- Website: this site has no accounts. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read; Google sets cookies for that and handles the data under its own privacy policy. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type) to run and protect the site.
How we use it
- To reply to you and give you an estimate.
- To send your estimate and invoice by email, and appointment or service messages by text.
- If you agree to receive them, to send check-in emails at about 30, 85 and 365 days after pickup asking how the battery is doing.
- To keep a record of the work done on your battery for warranty purposes.
Sharing
We never sell your information or share it for marketing. It is handled only by the services we use to run the shop (email, text messaging, the contact-form service, our shop records, and Google Analytics for website statistics), and disclosed otherwise only if the law requires it.
Retention & security
We keep personal information as long as we need it to do the work, honour the warranty, and meet our legal obligations, and we take reasonable administrative, technical and physical steps to protect it.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages. Tell us at any time to stop the check-in emails. You can also ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
